Piano & Vocal Tuition

I offer personalised piano and vocal tuition, with every lesson carefully tailored to suit the individual needs, goals and learning style of each student. Using a wide range of method books, repertoire and teaching approaches, lessons are designed to inspire progress, confidence and enjoyment at every stage.

Students are encouraged to develop as well-rounded musicians, building strong technical skills alongside creativity, musical understanding and performance confidence. For those who wish to take graded examinations, full preparation and entry guidance is also available.

All students are invited to take part in an annual recital, providing a rewarding opportunity to perform and celebrate their achievements. Support is also offered for participation in local festivals and competitions for those who would like to gain further performance experience.

I am a highly experienced teacher with 30 years of experience and a BA Hons Degree in Music from Leeds University. However, I still continue to learn and grow myself, attending courses when ever my timetable allows. I have enhanced DBS clearance and am fully insured.

Piano Tuition - £35 per hour. Lessons are generally 30 minutes long, depending on standard of the student.

Vocal Tuition - £35 per hour. Lessons are generally 45 minutes (The 1st session is usually 1 hour)
